Connect Claude to your game

Claude Code is Claude working on code. You do not need to install anything when you use it on the web. It works on a copy of your game in the cloud. It asks before it changes your real game.

Connect Claude once

Your repository is your game’s home on GitHub. It contains the game’s code and files.

1. Open claude.ai/code.
2. Sign in to Claude.
3. Connect GitHub:
   1. Click Sign in with GitHub.
   2. Allow the connection.
4. When you are asked, install the Claude GitHub app.
5. Choose your game’s repository. Choosing only that repository is fine.
6. Go back to Claude and pick your repository.

You can also use the Claude app on an iPad or phone. Open the Code tab. You can follow a session started on the computer and merge its change from the tablet.

Rules Claude already knows

The starter contains a file called CLAUDE.md, the rules for AI helpers. Claude reads it before changing anything, so it already knows:

• how the game is put together and how to test it;
• how to keep play together working;
• what every game here keeps: no ads, no trackers, nothing from other websites, no chat, playable by touch and keyboard.

You do not need to repeat any of that. Talk about the game.
